Falls City Beer is not brewed in Louisville. However, the company is locally owned and operated with 90% of their production being consumed in the Louisville Metro area so we decided to include them here (besides, our co-founder spent a year of his life rebuilding the brand). The “all new” Falls City Beer is an English-style Pale Ale based on the ales of the early 1900′s. The revival of Louisville’s most widely-recognized beer brand rekindled fond memories for both young and old and met with overwhelming success and growth since its launch in 2010.
Falls City Beer is currently being brewed under contract by Sand Creek Brewing Company in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, but is on it’s way back to Louisville.
