New Albanian Brewing Company

New Albanian Brewing Company Public House & Pizzeria
(formerly known as Rich O’s Public House and Sportstime Pizza)

NABC’s Public House & Pizzeria is a renowned specialty beer bar and tap room. At least 25 hand selected draft beers from around the country and the world are featured every day. The bottled beer list has been described as a “national treasure,” with roughly 250 selections encompassing all beer styles.

The atmosphere is casual, the menu pizza-driven and the beer, whether house-brewed or guest, award-winning at our original north side location.

It’s where it all began in 1987 as Sportstime Pizza, later incorporating Rich O’s Public House (1990) and NABC’s Research & Development Brewery (2002).

A menacing queue forms before me. It is comprised of well-intentioned nutritionists, crusading physicians, profiteering diet planners and congenital killjoys. In this nastiest of personal nightmares, they have gathered to demand that I eschew my expansive habits, to repent, convert and see the light … to eat and drink “right.” Stubborn and unrepentant, I point [...]

Belgium begins at the sea with sandy beaches and mud flats bordering the English Channel, and ends in the hilly, scenic terrain of the Ardennes, where towns like Bastogne remind the visitor that war regrettably has been a regular feature of European history. The country has been a hybrid from the start, carved out of [...]

California has Silicon Valley, and Nashville its Printers Alley, but here in the city of New Albany, we’ve got Falling Run Flats. It’s a district that combines high tech with low comedy, where rotary dial phones constantly interact with one too many half-pints of Kessler, and the dead get downright lively come election time. One [...]
