The Falls City name has been a Louisville tradition since 1905 when the brewery first opened. After closing its doors in 1978 the brand was revived in 2010 as a craft brewery reminiscent of the style created pre-prohibition. The English Pale Ale was the first new beer created, but since then we are continuing to brew different styles each week. With our brewery and taproom now open at 545 Barret Ave the general public can come in to sample our beer and take home a growler of fresh local beer.
After a short hiatus, we are brewing once again at our new brewery at 116 S. 10th St. Come taste all that we have to offer at our tasting room at 120 S. 10th St (between Main and Market, behind Caufields).
We’re only a block from the 9th St exit on I-64, so it’s easy to get to us from New Albany, Jeff, the East End or just about anywhere. We have SIX beers on-tap and our neighbor, Old 502 Winery has wine tastings in the same space.
Come do wine or beer flights, or both!
